A piece of history for your bag or your husband's keys: our handmade keychain in turquoise blue with a black key ring is more than just an accessory – it tells of freedom, wanderlust and adventures at sea. Crafted from genuine recycled sailing rope and a solid wooden ball, and tied in a traditional sailor's knot, each piece carries the traces of past voyages. Sturdy, nautical and unique – your personal companion with character.
The intricate knot around the wooden ball comes from seafaring, where it is known as a „monkey's fist“. Identical in construction but on a much larger scale, it is attached to the ends of mooring lines and thrown to the dockhands standing on the pier, who catch it and secure the lines to the cleats.
The keychain arrives in a natural kraft paper gift box, so it's ready to give as a present straight away.
Ball diameter: 3.3 cm
Length: approx. 13 cm
