I must have been very small when my grandmother descended the old, worn steps of her house for the last time, never to return to Berlin and to spend her life from then on as a sea nomad on the ocean. She didn't care at all that she had never sailed before and that people shook their heads in disbelief.
From that day on, I spent every second of my vacation on her sailboat and discovered not only the magic of the ocean, but also distant countries with foreign cultures.
One day, my grandmother gave me a diary, sparking my great passion: drawing. Whether it was the surface of exotic seashells, the patterns of the sunset on the open sea, the tiles on old house walls, or the henna designs on the hands of old women, I had to capture everything.
At some point, the impressions wouldn't let me go. I wanted to take them with me and feel them on my body, wherever I was. My first pieces of jewelry were created and evoked the most wonderful feelings of happiness within me. Just for me? No, also for you and your closest friends.
