Preparations for starting school in 2025 are in full swing! With lots of love (and certainly a few beads of sweat!), the schoolbag, along with a pretty lunchbox, a water bottle and other school supplies, needs to be chosen, the school cone needs to be crafted or sewn and its contents organized.
Because opening the school cone is probably one of the most beautiful moments for our little first-graders: What could it possibly be filled with?
I still remember the banana chips I secretly dumped behind a bush… and my gorgeous elephant necklace, which, almost 40 years later, sits dreaming away in a little jewelry box between my gold earrings and wedding ring!
