FREE CHRISTMAS PLANER - Weihnachten, diesmal perfekt organisiert! - ALICIA'S DIARY®

FREE CHRISTMAS PLANNER - Christmas, perfectly organized this time!

To fully enjoy the Christmas season sounds like a dream from a bygone era. Loving preparations without rushing, without the constant beeping of the mobile phone, and without endless lists piling up in your head.

I've made a firm resolution: This year, I simply want to savor every moment and soak it all in, especially during what is arguably the most wonderful time of the year – evenings spent snuggled under a cozy blanket, nibbling on the first freshly baked cookies by the flickering light of the fireplace, listening to the joyful laughter of children playing in the snow, and perhaps exchanging a few small gifts with friends and family. A particular highlight are the postcards my grandmother sends me from all corners of the world, one for each week of Advent.

Small seashell jewelry box - ALICIA'S DIARY® Gone are the days of rushing through shops in the run-up to Christmas, desperately searching for last-minute gifts for my friends, my sister, and my aunt. I never really know where to begin. I spend ages searching on my phone, filling and emptying shopping carts from different stores, sweating in my far-too-warm winter coat, and then shivering at the bus stop... Everything feels fleeting, devoid of appreciation. Gifts are simply bought quickly, not carefully chosen. Moments with family and friends are too short. This year will be different, that's for sure!

A small but brilliant trick that helps me: a gift planner ! I designed one for myself that's clear, aesthetically pleasing, and has space for ideas and budget. All gift ideas are neatly noted for each person on my list, so I can focus on other things. Want to do the same? Feel free to download my Christmas planner for free, gather your own ideas, enjoy the anticipation, and concentrate on what's important!

My sister and I experience firsthand every year how gifts given with love can still evoke wonderful feelings, even after many years! We have a piece of jewelry we received in an advent calendar back then—a necklace with a gold bead and a mother-of-pearl star pendant. I love it and simply have to take it out of my jewelry box every year. Things like that are so beautiful and bring back warm, cherished memories. I remember it so clearly: everything seemed like a dream back then. Like something out of a picture book. The walk to school through the first snow, baking cookies with my sister, Grandpa's Christmas stories that we listened to together. It was so wonderful. We all got the same necklace and felt like ice princesses!

When I think back to this time, I'm always reminded of how precious every second and every gift is. Every postcard. Every cookie given as a gift can be cherished as one of the most beautiful memories. This year, nothing will be forgotten, and everything will have its moment.

Perhaps my blog has inspired you to do the same this year and to approach everything more slowly and with more planning.

Do you have a lovely memory from back then too? Perhaps an old Christmas card or a bracelet that warms your heart? I'd love to hear your Christmas stories!

With Christmas greetings

Yours, Alicia
